I started working with Bob at the suggestion of Dr. Danielle to manage my fibromyalgia and continue running long-term. I was surprised by how simple yet challenging the sessions were and how easy they were to transfer and complete at home. I’ve never had an experience with such personalized and genuine care for my holistic well-being.

  1. Every new client that comes in starts off with a two hour assessment where we create space to discuss your history and I perform a posture and movement analysis. We’ll go through an introduction to myofascial release and breathwork to give you a foundation to start from. 
  2. From there we’ll work together, typically once a week, for either 60 minutes or 90 minutes. Each training session is focused on individualized corrective and dynamic exercise training, based on your initial assessment and progress since the last session.
  3. After the assessment, a few sessions will be spent learning how to perform self-myofascial release at home, as well as starting to explore breathwork. After all of the MFR sequences have been taught, we will progress into working on improving standing posture, and then progress from there into maintaining that posture through dynamic movement as we start to refine and upgrade the gait cycle. 

Hi, I’m your coach Bob. We’ll train together from a whole-human, integrated lens, factoring in your unique history, injuries and goals. Sessions are offered either in person if you’re local to Westchester or via Zoom. Biomechanics training is likely different from any training you’ve experienced before.

Initial assessment is $150. 60 minute training sessions are $75 and 90 minute training sessions are $110. Current package offerings are as follows:

  • Package of 16 1-hour sessions: $1,080

Biomechanics, simply put, is the study of how living organisms move and respond to physical forces in their environment. When we define that organism as "human", we are then studying and analyzing the movement patterns that are unique to us as a species - standing, walking and sprinting on two feet, as well as throwing overhand. All of our work is oriented around improving these four primary movement patterns and helping you build a solid foundation to support your physical body in your pursuit of your dreams.

What sets biomechanics training apart from more traditional exercise modalities is the focus on re-patterning the nervous system through training our human movement patterns. With subtle cues and specific changes to our muscle activation and movements, we are able to create new, more integrated pathways between our nervous system and our myofascial network. With practice and repetition, these new pathways become our default setting, allowing us to create lasting changes in how we move and feel in our bodies.
